Haley Singleton was born on 3-7-1978. She began singing at the age of 8. She was greatly influenced by Amanda Jacobs. Haley caught the eye of Charles Arthur Baylor in 1996 at a teen showcase in the city of Yancey. Charles began cultivating Haley's talent. Since Haley was a big fan of Amanda Jacobs-Melbourne, Charles hired Amanda to work with Haley. Haley progresses quickly under Amanda's tutelage. Amanda talked to her husband, Armand Melbourne, president and founder of K-3080 Records about Haley. When Armand found out that Charles was Haley's manager, he was reluctant to sign Haley. Charles had a reputation for being difficult and demanding. Charles talked to Armand. The two men reached an agreement. Haley signed with K-3080 Records in 1998. Haley has been a successful artist on K-3080 Records, releasing a number of CDs on the label. Amanda Jacobs-Melbourne has been featured on both of Haley's CDs. The Shades was featured on Haley's second CD. |
